Eligible recipients must also intend to pursue post-secondary education. Above all, the archer must demonstrate sportsmanship, dignity and conduct that brings honour to his or her sport and country, whether in victory or defeat.&nbsp;<\/p><p>This bursary is made possible by the generosity of Roger&#8217;s wife, Helen, who wishes to honour Roger&#8217;s legacy by supporting young archers in their sporting and academic pursuits.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>The Foundation Committee will meet in spring to announce the selection process yearly.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Roger Garrod Memorial Bursary is awarded annually by the Archery Canada Foundation to a Canadian archer between the ages of 17 and 21 who has competed or will compete for Canada at a World Championship or other international archery event.
