Announcing the Roger Garrod Memorial Bursary – Canadian Archery Foundation

The Archery Canada Foundation is pleased to announce a new annual bursary. The Roger Garrod Memorial Bursary is awarded annually by the Archery Canada Foundation to a Canadian archer between the ages of 17 and 21 who has competed or will compete for Canada at a World Championship or other international archery event. Eligible recipients must also intend to pursue post-secondary education. Above all, the archer must demonstrate sportsmanship, dignity and conduct that brings honour to his or her sport and country, whether in victory or defeat. This bursary is made possible by the generosity of Roger’s wife, Helen, who wishes to honour Roger’s legacy by supporting young archers in their sporting and academic pursuits.

The Foundation Committee will meet in May this year and further details of the application process will be announced.
